Rackspace Names Sandeep Bhargava as MD of APJ
Rackspace announced the appointment of Sandeep Bhargava as the Managing Director of Asia Pacific/Japan (APJ). Based in Singapore, he will be looking to drive Rackspace’s business growth across the region and establish strong local teams that continue to deliver the renowned Rackspace Fanatical Experience™.
Bhargava joins Rackspace with over two decades of experience in delivering financial and operational results across the region. Prior to joining Rackspace, he was responsible for HP’s graphic print business across APJ. Bhargava has also served in various leadership roles with HPE, Dell EMC and Procter & Gamble.

Bhargava will look to continue the rapid growth momentum across the APJ region with both the Singapore and Hong Kong offices moving to larger premises this year. Some of the major developments in 2019 include a strategic partnership with Tech Mahindra Ltd; and the signing of an alliance agreement among Rackspace, KDDI Corporation and iret, Inc in Japan to facilitate the commercialization of certain Rackspace products in Japan.
In addition, Rackspace has been recognised as Asia Pacific’s 2019 Managed Cloud Services Provider of the Year by Frost & Sullivan for the fourth year in a row, as well as endorsement as a Great Place to Work and a Great Place to Learn in Singapore.
