The 1st MCION conference in Malaysia, to focus on digital and cybersecurity topics

XCION Conference, the successful Bali-based series of CIO events is coming to Malaysian shores, more specifically, Penang island.

This comes on the back of XCION having completed its tenth CIO conference, unique and inspiring two-days gathering of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and business decision-makers.

MCION or the Malaysian CIO Network conferences aims to replicate this success with a 2 day in-person conference from 23rd till 25th August, 2023.

Adopting a ‘Innovate, Transform, and Secure your Digital Organization’ theme, the event is anticipated to have up to 25 top-notch speakers and innovators share insightful information and knowledge.

Co-Founder of XCION and MCION Ray Sugiarto stated, “The digital era is here and across Malaysia and, in fact, in the whole of Southeast Asia, all CxOs are concerned about how to innovate and transform their organization to compete in this brave new digital world. To compete globally, to be digital and agile is a must, and the changes bring along cybersecurity risks. A bad attack can bring large enterprises to their knees.”

Ray added his hope that the conference would stir the C-suite around Malaysia and the region, to attend to network, learn, and share with each other about their digital journeys. They are expected to be accompanied by over 25 tech and solution vendors, hence completing the ecosystem for the conference.
