SAVE THE DATE: Stakeholder consultation on Blockchain for Trade Facilitation and E-Commerce

The United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) has produced a paper titled “White Paper on the technical applications of Blockchain to United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Commerce (UN/CEFACT) deliverables”.

The consultation session with stakeholders to provide and assemble Malaysia’s comments on the UN/CEFACT white paper will be held as follows:
Date : 10 July 2018
Venue : Auditorium Dr Tengku Azzman Shariffadeen, MIMOS Berhad, Technology Park Malaysia, 57000 Kuala Lumpur.
Time : 9.30 am to 1 pm (Registration starts at 9 am)
The official invitation from Department of Standards Malaysia to selected government agencies, regulators and NGOs can be downloaded here . The consultation session however is open to other stakeholder organisations, especially those involved in providing services for the supply chain and logistics sectors, users of such services, interested parties as well as software/system solution providers.
Participants are recommended to read through the white paper in preparation for the consultation session. Participants are also encouraged to start entering comments (for consideration during the consultation session) in the comment form before 10 July 2018.
