Horangi offers a cloud security platform that enables companies to secure their public cloud infrastructure. Besides securing these companies, Horangi ensures they are compliant with regional and global regulatory requirements, by looking at their current infrastructure and ensuring it maps to industry regulations.
CEO and co-founder Paul Hadjy explained, “So, we integrate with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and more to help companies that utilise those clouds, secure their responsibility in terms of the cloud infrastructure.”
In essence, Horangi is a software-as-a-service platform that delivers security, compliance, identity access management (IAM) and a threat dashboard. “But we are required to go to the customer’s site under certain circumstances,” Paul said.
Multi-cloud future
The cybersecurity provider is ready to deliver a holistic cybersecurity and compliance experience for their clients that have multi-cloud environments. “Horangi does the heavy-lifting for clients, integrating in terms of security and compliance requirements, as well as configuring for each cloud environment.
“One of the reasons we integrated with a majority of public clouds is because we want to give these organisations a holistic view of their security across different clouds,” Paul said.
Growth and products
Horangi is focused on this region and has experienced rapid growth in the past year. In some ways, due to the acceleration of technology take up; especially cloud; the company now finds itself solving new problems in the cloud.
“When you think of our product as a cloud security platform with multiple tools to solve different issues in the infrastructure, you see we have cloud security posture management (CSPM) and cloud infrastructure entitlements management (CIEM) and more,” Paul described.
Timely and relevant capabilities
Gartner recently identified CSPM to be a mandatory security solution to help organisations identify security blind spots, and overall enhance resiliency of infrastructures via early remediation.
CSPM and IAM are relevant capabilities added to Horangi Warden, a flagship solution that was recently listed in AWS’ digital catalog for independent software vendors.
“This enhances our ability to meet customer demand for effective cybersecurity solutions capable of boosting organisational digital risk postures,” Paul said.

He also added, “COVID-19 has accelerated the shift to digital and these milestones reaffirm the trust that SEA leaders have in Horangi to power their cybersecurity.”
And Horangi is certainly aiming and positioning itself to serve this market audience by adding new capabilities that address upcoming security concerns as more public cloud services are taken up.
