MIBS 2017 To Return with a Big Bang!
In its continuous effort to provide an effective platform and opportunities for knowledge sharing, intensive learning and networking, Internet Alliance (‘IA’) will be organizing the Malaysia Internet Business Summit 2017 (‘MIBS 2017’) on 23rd November 2017 at MaGIC Cyberjaya.
Internet Alliance (‘IA’) a not-for-profit organization that represents all the major Digital Service Providers in Malaysia, currently facilitates about 85 per cent of the country’s Malaysia’s active Internet scene.
Being held for the 3rd time, MIBS 2017 is expected to draw an even larger and more mature group of Digital Service Providers and content providers in a single business-centric event.
IA President Chan Kee Siak says, “We are leveraging the huge success of the past MIBS and the industry feedback that we received from it. This time around, we have the participation from at least 300 local and regional Digital Business Owners and Executives to make this knowledge-sharing platform more effective and productive.”
This year, MIBS 2017 aims to draw a comprehensive group of Digital Service players that comprise brand owners, cloud providers, distributions, ecommerce platforms, online merchants, commercial logistics companies, payment gateway services, software solution providers and digital marketing advocates.
MIBS 2017 is held collaboratively with Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd, one of the largest cloud providers in this region and MaGIC (Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre) that actively supports the creativity and innovation development in Malaysia through dynamic programs and capacity-building initiatives.
Chan says that MIBS 2017 will be streamlining the recent Budget 2018 strategy which was unveiled by the Malaysian Prime Minister recently, “IA is delighted that the government is focusing on the Digital Economy that will continue to be a key driver of growth.
This is evidenced from the new stream of initiatives laid out in the Budget 2018, which focus on accelerating growth, enhancing the well-being of all Malaysians as well as further enhancing a Digital Malaysia.”
Chan would like to equate MIBS as a “knowledge booster” that should not be missed. It renews all owners of internet related businesses with latest trends, tech and future of internet business, cross border ecommerce, cross border/channel digital marketing, the leverage of the global big data trend, cyber security and etc.
“During this 1-day event, participants can gain deeper insight into cross-border ecommerce marketing, besides acquiring all relevant and latest information which ultimately assisting their company in a pole position ahead of their peers.” says Chan.
