Maybank Releases #MaybankJomRaya Song The First Financial Institution to create their own Raya Song.

Maybank which is one of the leading financial intuitions across Asia decided to personalise its popular corporate anthem with unique lyrics created for this Raya season with strong messages of family, hope, gratitude and togetherness for the upcoming celebrations. The lyrics of the song centres around the message that Hari Raya is a season for forgiveness, happiness, celebration and thanks. It reminds us that despite the many challenges that we are all dealing with, it is a time to laugh and enjoy the most precious gifts we have – each other! It does not matter where we come from or  what we work as, as long as we are united.

The collaborative tune actually features Maybank management and employees around the world coming together in a unified theme centred on music! Maybank identified employees from Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia from their various spoken and cultural mannerisms! Maybank has always been at the forefront in serving its communities around the ASEAN region and this rendition of the #MaybankJomRaya Song re-inforces that message of celebration within the communities it serves.

Based on Maybank’s social media pages this video was released regionally across its ASEAN platforms on the 23rd June 2016 and has been trending regionally ever since. More so as Maybank took an innovative approach in uploading it via SMULE, an app that allows people to create, share, discover, participate, and connect with others. In addition, Maybank has also announced a quirky contest encouraging people to take part by singing along to their #MaybankJomRaya Song.
