M IOC PROVIDES SMART SAFETY AND SECURITY MONITORING TO UEMS EAST LEDANG DEVELOPMENT

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), via Inneonusa Sdn Bhd (Inneonusa), a tripartite joint venture between TM, UEM Sunrise Berhad (UEM Sunrise) and Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) announced that it has recently commenced the operations of safety and security monitoring of East Ledang Development in Iskandar Puteri via its Integrated Operations Centre (IOC).       

Commenting on the deployment of the smart security services, Akram Mackeen, Chief Executive Officer, Inneonusa said, “Inneonusa currently provides smart security for East Ledang which includes 24×7 event based monitoring via the IOC, supported by CCTVs, boom gates, Licence Plate Recognition cameras and patrol duties of security guards. Via the IOC, we are able to deploy analytics based incident detection which requires minimal human intervention thus increasing immediate responsiveness to security incidents.”

Dato’ Roslan Ibrahim, Chief Operating Officer, Development of UEM Sunrise said, “Today’s ceremony is to celebrate the successful completion of the commissioning and operations of the East Ledang Security Intelligent System (ELSIS). With this system in place, it is now directly connected to Inneonusa IOC. This IOC also serves as an integration of all security and other smart elements within UEM Sunrise’s properties in Iskandar Puteri which includes security surveillance and access control, manpower deployment, and other Smart services.”

Inneonusa has also collaborated with Nusajaya Five-O, a full-fledged security services company that provides enhanced security for Nusajaya, to ensure that incidents are managed centrally and systematically at the IOC.

The IOC set-up in Iskandar Puteri is able to manage the operations of smart services nationwide such as smart ICT, safety and security, smart mobility, city-wide services, energy and facilities management, digital signages as well as citizen portal. The efficiency of the IOC relies on the information and communications by a large pool of sensor network, which ultimately optimises a city’s operations to make it a better place to live, work and play for its community.

These smart services are deployed for the various property development projects owned by UEM Sunrise in Iskandar Puteri, such as Estuari, Melia Residences, Ledang Heights and Southern Industrial and Logistics Clusters (SILC).
