Lenovo stays ahead of the curve with refreshed Kaby Lake processor devices and the ThinkPad P51s Workstation
Global technology leader Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) today unveiled a refreshed range of their commercial products with the new Kaby Lake 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor, and introduced the ThinkPad P51s Workstation, a high-specification device that brings power on the move.

Lenovo refreshes products with Kaby Lake processors
The product refresher is part of Lenovo’s promise to consistently listen and respond to their consumers’ needs. Lenovo is offering the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 Yoga, and ThinkPad 13 refreshed with Kaby Lake processors for working professionals.
The Kaby Lake processor enables integrated support for USB-C Gen 2 and integrated GPUs which are better-suited for 4K video. Clocked at up to 3.9 GHz, the processor enables users to multi-task more efficiently, switching between programs seamlessly to improve productivity, spark creativity and enjoy entertainment with ease, making it perfect for industry leaders – be they engineers, UX/UI designers, animators, or architects.
ThinkPad P51s Workstation
The ThinkPad P51s Workstation is a sturdy, mobile workstation featuring a perfect blend of performance and functionality to run process-heavy software with the stability and speed that users require. Developed with engineers and architects in mind, the workstation delivers first-class systems in the thinnest, lightest frame possible without compromising quality and reliability.
The ThinkPad P51s is built to withstand rigorous use and wear-and-tear, with military-specification (MIL-SPEC) testing exposing it to extreme levels of humidity, temperature, sand, high vibration, altitudes, mechanical shocks and more. The workstation’s long-lasting battery life, powered by Power Bridge Technology, offers hot-swappable rear batteries, giving you freedom from the power adaptor.
The ThinkPad P51s showcases a new thin and light chassis, powered by Kaby Lake, Intel’s 7th generation Core i7 processors. The machine also offers 16GB DDR4 – 2,133 MHz of memory, allowing it to run a full range of professional software with blazing fast speed.
The laptop comes equipped with the latest NVIDIA® Quadro® dedicated workstation graphics and colour calibrators for any design and animation needs. The ThinkPad P51s Workstation’s ultra-high resolution 4K UHD IPS anti-glare display has wide viewing angles to provide a first-class interactive experience.
The ThinkPad P51s is equipped with 512GB of PCIE NVME OPAL storage for fast data transfer rates.
The ThinkPad P51s will be available mid-July 2017 and will be priced from RM 6,999, inclusive of GST, from selected Lenovo authorized resellers.
