Honeywell’s safety and productivity group collaborates with Flux to compete in ASEAN logistics scene
Honeywell has formed a new joint venture company with FLUX Information Technology, a leading provider of warehouse management and related supply chain software in China.
This new joint venture, Honeywell Logistics Technology will initially focus on opportunities in the Asia Pacific region and will be the exclusive platform for Honeywell and Flux outside of China.
FLUX’s offerings complement those of Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS), which develops hardware and software that improves productivity, enhance worker safety, and increase accuracy and throughput of supply chains.
This joint venture was formed on 12 February 2018 with a Hong Kong registered entity. Currently there are ten staff based in Honeywell ASEAN headquarters in KL, Malaysia. The JV has successfully deployed Warehouse Management System (WMS) in a spare parts fulfillment centre in West Chester, Ohio, which supports Honeywell Intelligrated’s distribution centre customers. The software was deployed in less than 100 days to coordinate receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping tasks.
Southeast Asia is the first region this joint venture business is entering into.
