New York-based cybersecurity ratings company SecurityScorecard partnered with Petaling Jaya, Malaysia-based ICT network and security company LinkAxia Networks as its regional distributor which will deliver its patented cybersecurity ratings solutions across Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei, LinkAxia announced on 15th November 2021.
SecurityScorecard’s rating platform enables companies to instantly rate, understand, and continuously and remotely monitor the security risk of any organisations worldwide, non-intrusively and from an outside-in perspective, to help organisations better understand the security and health of their networks, domain-name severs, know their vulnerabilities, risks and endpoint security so they can prioritise remediation of the most critical and common risks.
It’s solution continuously monitors millions of entities globally, and uses non-intrusive proprietary methods to assess their security posture across ten risk categories to instantly deliver an easy-to-understand “A” through “F” rating; including DNS health, IP reputation, web application security, network security, leaked information, hacker chatter, endpoint security, and patching cadence.
On a daily basis, these ratings are updated based on objective, publicly available data that, similar to credit ratings, provides an “outside-in” view of an entity’s security posture.
Its rating technology is used by over 25,000 organizations for enterprise risk management, third-party risk management, board reporting, due diligence, and cyber insurance underwriting, with more than 11 million companies continuously rated.
