During the press conference after, his honourable minister explained further his plans to first “increase awareness amongst his colleagues in the Malaysian cabinet”, so as to ultimately increase cyber resiliency for Malaysia.
In his opening speech, he had admitted that the government alone could not build a nation’s resilience against cyberattacks.
“Therefore MOSTI will continue to encourage and engage with all key sectors to promote and sustain cyber resilience particularly by strengthening public-private collaboration.”
CSM CEO, Dr. Amirudin bin Abdul Wahab also weighed in (video below) with CSM’s initiatives to help Malaysian businesses and the public sector bounce back after cyberattacks.
