AdNovum’s NEVIS Security Suite now FIDO certified
The NEVIS Security Suite of the Swiss software company AdNovum has passed the FIDO UAF interoperability tests with its authentication server and received the FIDO UAF certification from the FIDO Alliance. FIDO (Fast IDentity Online) is an open industry standard for secure, fast and simple online authentication.
The FIDO Universal Authentication Framework (FIDO UAF) supports password-less authentication for websites and mobile applications. With FIDO, companies benefit from standardized authentication solutions that can be introduced cost-effectively and extended to include new, stronger authentication methods such as fingerprint or face recognition. The FIDO certificate gives NEVIS customers the assurance that the product meets the specifications and that it can be combined with FIDO components of other vendors.
This ensures maximum flexibility and a high level of investment protection for customers. With NEVIS, AdNovum expands the interoperable ecosystem of products and services on which organizations worldwide can build FIDO authentication solutions.

AdNovum strives to provide user-friendly mobile authentication which meets the security requirements of banking, insurance and government solutions. The NEVIS Security Suite has therefore been integrating secure and convenient mobile authentication based on the FIDO standard since autumn 2018.
