Unit4 acquires Assistance Software to create a complete cloud offering for professional services organisations in Asia Pacific

Unit4, a provider of enterprise applications for service organisations, has acquired Assistance Software – a provider of Professional Services Automation (PSA) solutions, known for delivering out-of-the-box solutions designed for specific services industries. The acquisition builds on Unit4’s already extensive solution for professional services organisations (PSOs) and reinforces the company’s focus on services organisations, particularly professional services, in Asia Pacific. Its unique offering will deliver the joined up insight a services business needs across the full organisation.

The new Unit4 PSA Suite adds an industry leading front end with the added advantage of seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Unit4’s extended portfolio means that PSOs of all sizes can benefit from a standalone cloud PSA solution. Unit4 PSA Suite can also be implemented on top of an organisation’s ERP solution, including Unit4 Business World, creating a full end-to-end solution for PSOs as well as service divisions in non-PS organisations.

This development supports Unit4’s strategy to deliver specialised customer facing solutions to services organisations so they can improve the management of their business operations from front to back office. The new Unit4 PSA Suite is both born in the cloud and truly customer facing, with an option for native integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
