TM’S UNIFI FAMILY IS NOW 1 MILLION!
Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s (TM) UniFi family hit the 1,000,000 mark recently and this is indeed a significant milestone for Malaysia’s Convergence Champion, more aptly in the holy month of Ramadan and ushering in the festive celebration of Aidilfitri.
Commenting on the achievement, Imri Mokhtar, Executive Vice President, Consumer and SME, TM said: “UniFi has been growing at a steady pace over the years and now, we have reached an incredible 1,000,000 customers. We are especially grateful to be blessed with this milestone during this holy month, when we are celebrating #KeajaibanRamadan at TM. For us, this has led to #KeajaibanUniFi as we call our 1 million UniFi customers the ‘Miracle Million’– you are our miracle, and we could not have done it without you! We would also like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the entire Warga Keluarga TM – reinforcing our commitment towards delivering convergence to all our customers, in line with our vision, “To Make Life and Business Easier, for a Better Malaysia”.”
In the spirit of #KeajaibanUniFi and to extend the miracle of #KeajaibanRamadhan, TM will be donating a total of RM1,000,000 to 100 selected Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) nationwide with a variety of charitable causes, in the name of our Miracle Million (the list of the NGOs is per the attached Appendix). TM would like to invite all UniFi customers to visit its web page, www.tm.com.my/miraclemillion and submit their names to be closer to this meaningful initiative. Meanwhile, the 1,000,000th UniFi customer will be given the privilege to choose 10 out of the selected NGOs and we will donate RM10,000 each under his or her name.
Imri added: “To show our appreciation for the loyalty and support from all our UniFi customers, we are opening up all channels on HyppTV and HyppTV Everywhere app from 19 June until 18 July 2017. We are also extending this entertainment experience to all our Streamyx 8Mbps customers as well as Streamyx 4Mbps customers with the HyppTV set-top box. With over 100 channels across various genres, you can enjoy a wholesome viewing experience while bonding with family, friends and loved ones anytime, anywhere over the upcoming festive season.”
“On top of that, for the 1,000,000th UniFi customer, TM will be giving his or her home a special make-over with smart facilities and appliances, delivering Smarter Living and making life in the Era of Convergence, a reality. We will be making further announcements on this soon,” Imri enthused.
In addition, TM has been carrying out numerous community-oriented activities throughout Ramadan, including supporting Polis Diraja Malaysia’s (PDRM) Op Selamat safety campaign, preparation and distribution of bubur lambuk, a special buka puasa with PDRM and singgah sahur activities for staff at selected hospitals under Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) as well as Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (APM) to fete these everyday heroes.
