Tech Data today announced it has become a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (Indirect) in Singapore. The addition of Microsoft Azure to Tech Data’s already robust line-up of cloud services, will put channel partners in a prime position to serve increasing market demands and also expedite their digital transformation journeys. The Microsoft solutions available from Tech Data in Singapore now include: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, Power BI, Windows and other value-added services.
“In Singapore, a digital-first approach has proven to help boost productivity and innovation. Cloud computing plays a foundational role in driving successful digital transformation initiatives, and this agreement will enable our channel partners to transform and scale their cloud business strategically to meet market demand,” said Nicholas Tan, country general manager, Singapore, Tech Data.
Building on the existing successful relationships in the Americas, Europe and other parts of Asia Pacific, the agreement in Singapore will help channel partners, whether those are traditional IT resellers providing cloud technology solutions for the first time or cloud service providers with existing cloud managed services, redefine their business models to address the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that next-generation digital technology brings.
Tech Data has held firm to its commitment to become the leading cloud solutions aggregator and orchestrator in the region by continual investment in cloud expertise and development in its cloud proprietary platform – StreamOne.
StreamOne allows partners to manage and deploy cloud subscriptions on behalf of their customers, perform white-labelled quoting, and provide billing and analytics to track customer subscriptions in realtime. With the recent addition of Click-to-Run for Microsoft Azure solutions, partners are now able to customise, configure and deploy cloud solutions within hours.
“We look forward to working with Tech Data to empower Microsoft partners of all sizes to rapidly build profitable cloud businesses amid growing demand for cloud-based solutions and services,” said Gerald Leo, Chief Partner Officer for One Commercial Partner, Microsoft Singapore. “Tech Data’s investments in their data and AI Lab will also accelerate growth to help the partner community in Singapore and find new pathways to drive innovation in the data analytics and artificial intelligence space leveraging Azure as their platform of choice for intelligent cloud and edge.”
