Silver Peak Unity EdgeConnect Surpasses 200 SD-WAN Customer Milestone
Silver Peak, the global leader in broadband and hybrid WAN solutions, today announced that the company has eclipsed 200 net new paying customer deployments of its award-winning Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution. EdgeConnect, first announced in June 2015, commenced shipping in August 2015. In the first nine months, the company secured its initial 100 net new paying customers and in the subsequent five months has doubled new customer deployments to more than 200. Silver Peak is fast emerging as the global leader in SD-WAN solutions, a nascent market that IDC predicts will reach $6 billion by 2020.
New EdgeConnect customers span a broad range of industries including: broadcast, construction, distribution, financial services, home lending, logistics, payment services and retail. A cross-section of new EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution customers include: Graham Media Group, Inc., Republic National Distributing Company, Veterans United, Southland Industries and Aramex.
