Red Hat reaffirms commitment to Malaysian market

Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, today announced the incorporation and official opening of Red Hat Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur,  further strengthening the company’s presence in the country. Having started Malaysia operations in 2006, Red Hat Malaysia is part of Red Hat’s aim to help cultivate a healthy open source environment in Malaysia that will enable small and large enterprises alike to adopt open technologies.

Red Hat aims to develop closer ties with their key partners including independent software vendors (ISVs), such as Infopro and Uberfusion, and channel partners such as Wikilabs and Abyres, as well as key customers, highlighted by Malaysia’s infrastructure conglomerate, YTL, and Melaka State Government.
