Ninja Van Taps into Underserved Market in Malaysia

Started in May 2015, Ninja Van has established its presence in six South East Asia countries – Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam Thailand Indonesia and The Philippines. Thus, proving 100% nationwide coverage and enabling over 55 million volume of parcel deliveries in 2018.

Newly appointed logistic veteran, Alexandra Sham, now the Regional Head of B2B shares Ninja’s early deployment plans which includes Malaysia being the first country to tackle the undeserved market in the B2B sector.

Speaking at a media luncheon Alex said, “B2B drives the economic sector in ASEAN and in terms of logistics I believe there is a lot more Ninja can do in creating a larger value and how to serve the rest of the sector”

With the recent launch of the B2B sector in Malaysia, Ninja is focusing on solving industry specific problem within the Financial Institution, Healthcare and SMEs to ease the transition from offline to online. He also shared while they are in ongoing conversation with the industry players, no timeline has been mentioned.

Adzim Halim, Country Head for Malaysia, Ninja Van shares that, the past 4.5 years has been exciting and the growth has been accelerating and he believes Alexandra’s vast experience in the sector will put Ninja further on the map.

Ninja Van Malaysia is the only logistics player that can offer next-day delivery with exceptional performance in major cities in Malaysia. Over the past 12 months, Ninja Van has achieved 350% growth in fleet size and hundreds of millions in cash-on-delivery transaction.
